Send Secret Coded Message to Your Friends!

Do you want to send coded messages to your friend which no one else can read? Well, it's very easy! You can easily encrypt your message using this online free tool. Send the encrypted message to your friend and ask her to open this tool and decrypt the message! The message you will encrypt here will be decrypted only here. No one else will be able to read the message. We, of course, do not store any messages people encrypt here.

Use a Password to Encrypt and Decrypt the Messages

While encrypting, you have the option of adding a password (custom secret key) to your message. Then you send the encrypted message and the secret key you have used to your friend. When your friend comes to this tool, she will have to enter the secret key in order to decrypt and read the message. Without entering secret key, no one will be able to decrypt the message even if they have the encrypted message.

How This Tool Works

Let's assume that there are two friends James and Laura. For chatting they use apps like WhatsApp, Telegram, SnapChat etc. But they want to ensure that nobody, not even these apps are able to read their messages. They want to exchange messages which can open only when you enter a secret key.

So, James and Laura decide to use this ACEOnlineTools encrypt-decrypt tool. Here is how they use it:

Encryption:
  • James and Laura decide that they will use alohamora as their secret key
  • James comes to this tool and type "I love you" in the message box. Then he checks the "custom key" checkbox and enters alohamora as key.
  • When he clicks the "Encrypt Message" button, the message gets encrypted as jDiGtuaeGwDXLw==.
  • James copies this encrypted message and sends it to Laura.
Decryption:
  • Now Laura comes to this tool, goes to the Decrypt tab, and pastes James' message (i.e. jDiGtuaeGwDXLw==) in the decrypted message box
  • Then Laura checks the "custom key" checkbox and types alohamora as key.
  • She clicks the "Decrypt Message" button and, voila!, the plain message "I love you" comes on screen! It brings a cute smile on Laura's face!

So, you see, it's so easy to turn plain message text into a cipher -- a coded message that only can be deciphered here and that too only if you have the secret key!
